In this session, we will examine the difference between high-conflict behaviour and high emotional distress, uncover the drivers behind client reactivity, and explore how professionals can better understand and navigate these challenging dynamics during one of life’s most difficult transitions.

Dayana is a Registered Psychotherapist and Mediator in Hamilton, Ontario.
With over 17 years of experience, she offers a compassionate and expert approach to mental health and wellness.
Dayana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling from Canada Christian College, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Postgraduate diploma in Forensic Psychology from the University of Liverpool and a Mediation & Conflict Resolution diploma from Herzing College. Her extensive training enables her to utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, with specializations in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Dayana is also a Qualified Mediator with the ADR Institute of Ontario/Canada (ADRIO/ADRIC). She offers family mediation services for couples seeking to separate or divorce outside of the court system.
Dayana is committed to providing relationship services that cater to both religious and non-religious individuals, ensuring that everyone feels supported in their journey.
